The Austrian non-profit organisation ÖAMTC summarized the results of the annual automotive award Marcus 2019. The award for “Cost new” in the category “Compact class” got Lada Vesta SW with a 1.6-liter engine.

ÖAMTC is the Österreichischer Automobil-, Motorrad – und Touring Club, i.e. Austrian automobile, motorcycle and touring club. In automotive circles, the Austrian ÖAMTC — influential expert organization, the closest analogue and the partner of the German club ADAC.

According to experts, the cost of maintaining the Russian station wagon is €482 per month, that is about 35 000 rubles at the current exchange rate. The car itself is worth €15 190, 100 or 1 000. In Russia, the normal Vesta SW (do not Cross) is estimated in the amount of 676 873 900 to 900 rubles.

Analysts also ÖAMTC announced the winners in the other classes:

  • in the category of “Minicar” — Smart fortwo EQ;

  • in the category “Compact class” — Lada Vesta SW 1.6;

  • in the category of “Middle class” — Peugeot 508 BlueHDi 1.5 130 Active;

  • in the category “Compact SUV and crossover” — Blue Dacia Duster dCi 95 Essential;

  • in the category “Large SUV and crossover” — C5 Aircross Citroën PureTech 130 Live;

  • in the category “Luxury class” — I Jaguar-Pace S.

It is noteworthy that a year ago, Vesta had already won the Austrian ranking, but then the competition was attended sedan.

Sale Vesta SW and SW Cross started in Austria in may 2018. Station wagons are offered with a 1.6-litre engine and manual or automatic transmissions.
